Targeting the NF-[kappa]B signaling pathway in Notch1-induced T-cell leukemia
Article Abstract:
The active Notch1 has activated the nuclear factor-[kappa]B (NF-[kappa]B) pathway transcriptionally and through the [I.sub.[kappa]]B kinase (IKK) complex, thereby causing an increased expression of many well characterized target genes of NF-[kappa]B in bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells and progenitors. The results have identified NF-[kappa]B as one of the major mediators of Notch1-induced transformation, suggesting the NF-[kappa]B pathway to be a potential target of future therapies of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Mutational loss of PTEN induces resistance to NOTCH1 inhibition in T-Cell leukemia
Article Abstract:
Study conducted show that NOTCH1 regulates the expression of PTEN (encoding phosphatase and tensin homolog) and the activity of the phosphoinositol-3 kinase (PI3K)-AKT signaling pathway in normal and leukemic T cells.
